2010 Membership Fees

Membership:

For the 2010 season there will be two categories of Membership in the Sailing Club.

We will continue with the current Full Membership program, allowing qualified Members to sail our boats during daylight hours, seven days a week, May 1 to September 30, with full participation in all our Club programs.

We are also introducing a new membership category – Associate Members.  This category will allow qualified Associate Members to sail our small boats during the period 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, excluding public holidays.  Associate Members will be able to participate in social functions, and would pay Guest Fees in accordance with our Policies if they sail outside the designated hours.

For each of these categories of membership Members may join for a 12-month period, or for a 1-month or 2-month period, commencing any day of the year.

Guest Fees will be $25 per timeslot, with a maximum of 4 sails per guest per season.

Installment Payments:  For member fees with a total amount which exceeds $500, members may choose to pay 50% upon registration and the balance within the subsequent 30 days. 

Harmonized Sales Tax: Please note that club fees for sailing after July 1st are subject to an additional 8% tax to comply with the new HST tax.
